This statement is made on behalf of Leyr AB, a healthcare technology company, in line with our commitment to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chain.

Our business

Leyr provides interoperability and integration services for healthcare systems, including EHR/EMR integrations and related software services. Our supply chain primarily consists of digital goods and professional services, including cloud infrastructure, software tools, advisory services, contractors, and other business services.

Policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking

Leyr is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour, or exploitation in our business or supply chain. We act ethically and with integrity in our business relationships and expect our suppliers and partners to apply equivalent standards.

Due diligence processes

We take a risk-based approach to supplier and partner due diligence. This may include careful selection of suppliers, contractual commitments to comply with applicable laws and ethical standards, and review of supplier practices where relevant.

Risk assessment and management

Given the nature of our software and professional services business, we consider the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our direct operations and supply chain to be relatively low. However, we remain vigilant and give additional attention to suppliers, sectors, or geographies where labour exploitation risks may be higher.

Effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking

We monitor the effectiveness of our approach through regular review of our practices, supplier due diligence, reported concerns, and relevant contractual controls. If credible concerns are identified, we will take appropriate action, which may include investigation, remediation, suspension, termination of the relationship, or reporting to relevant authorities where required.

Training and reporting

We provide appropriate awareness to employees and contractors whose roles involve supplier selection, procurement, compliance, finance, HR, management, or related responsibilities. Anyone who knows or suspects that modern slavery or human trafficking may be occurring in Leyr's operations or supply chain should report it promptly to the CEO, their manager, or the relevant compliance or governance channel.

This statement constitutes Leyr's modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. It will be reviewed at least annually and updated as necessary.
